개완과 찻잔의 색감은 자연의 빛에서 영감을 받았습니다.

새싹이 돋을 때의 연둣빛, 나무가 품은 짙은 갈색빛, 바다의 깊은 푸른빛,

하늘이 머금은 부드러운 빛을 모두 담아 보았습니다.

유약을 사용하지 않은 따뜻한 질감의 도자기 위로 찻물이 차츰 스며들면

색은 더욱 깊어지고, 빛과 각도에 따라 미묘한 변화가 느껴집니다.

손끝으로 흙의 결을 느껴주시고 눈길로 빛의 흐름을 천천히 음미해 주세요.

작업 방법에 대해 알려주세요.

모든 차 도구는 손으로 빚거나 물레 성형을 통해 제작합니다.

형태는 간결하고 차를 우리는 행위가 편안하도록 디자인하였습니다.

개완은 손에 쥐었을 때 안정감을 주도록,

찻잔은 입술에 닿을 때 자연스럽게 감싸지는 곡선이 살아 있도록 하였습니다.

찻잔 속 차의 온기가 손까지 은은하게 전달되도록 벽을 얇게 성형하되,

사용하면서 쉽게 깨지지 않을 적절한 두께를 유지하였습니다.

내 작업을 수집하는 분께 전하고 싶은 말을 부탁합니다.

시간의 흐름에 따라 빛이 변하듯, 차 도구도 쓰는 이의 손길에 따라 점점 깊어지는 아름다움을 가집니다.

개인의 생활 속 추억이 녹아드는 오브제로 자리 잡을 것이며, 오랜 시간 함께하며 취향과 애정이 담긴 사물이 되어줄 것입니다.

What kind of light (color) is in the work?

The colors of the tea utensils were inspired by the light of nature.

I tried to express all the light green when the buds sprout, the dark brown that the trees hold,

the deep blue of the sea, and the soft light that the sky has.

If you dip your tea in unglazed pottery, the color becomes deeper and deeper.

Depending on the light and angle of the pottery, the colors and textures of the pottery can feel differently.

Feel the texture of the soil with your fingertips and slowly appreciate the light with your eyes.

Tell me about your working process.

All of my works are made by hand or by using a spinning wheel.

The shape of the tea utensil is simple and designed to brew tea leaves comfortably.

The Gaewan was designed to provide a stable feeling when held in the hand,

and the curve of the Teacup was designed to naturally touch the lips.

It was made with a thin but safe thickness so that the warm temperature of

the tea can be felt in the hand holding the tea cup by making the thickness of the ceramic thin.

What I want to say to the person collecting my work.

Just as light changes over time, tea utensils also have a beauty that deepens with use.

It will become an object that memories into personal life, and an object that has long-lasting taste and affection.
